 When we moved into our new home, we promised the kids we would add a new puppy to our family. I contact about her beautiful dogs. She spent a lot of time talking to me and matched us with the best puppy for our family. Since we didn't have an exact move date, she was so flexible and when it was time to pick up our new baby, she even shortened our trip by meeting us. He fit right in to our family and daily life. Our young daughter has Juvenile Arthritis and when she is in pain and having a rough day, he comes and snuggles right next to her. We knew we would love our new dog but the joy he brings to our family is priceless, in fact, we know one day we want to add another puppy to our family and without a doubt will adopt again from Bobbi and Bayview Shih Tzu.

In October of 2013 we fell in love with a little red and white puppy who was the last of Smackers's and Vanessa's litter.  This little guy was irresistible: red patches on both ears and above his tail and one pink toe pad (rest are black).  He was full of energy and affection and won us over immediately.
Well, two years later he continues to bring our family nothing but joy.  He's healthy and happy and even though he is an indoor dog, he loves to patrol the backyard.  He barks at anything that dares to invade the airspace over his yard - from helicopters to birds and kicks his feet out behind him to show who's boss. That's about as aggressive as he gets. He likes to curl up with us on the couch and watch football and he loves playing with our cat (she loves him too). He can sense when one of us is sick and will hang out on the bed until we're better.    He makes us laugh and we can't imagine our home without him. Thank you again for Buzz.  He is a treasure.

 I got my Odie last year in the Fall of 2013.  My husband had terminal cancer at the time. Odie was and is a kind, quiet and gentle dog. He loves everyone and even his four legged friends. He helped to brighten my husband's last days. Since my husband passed in August 2014, Odie has been my constant companion . He is full of love and I do not know what I would do without my four legged friend!   Look at these loving eyes! Thanks Elaine O  

 We had never had a Shih Tzu before but had suddenly fallen in love with one of Bobbi's pups that our friends adopted.  The more I read about them, the more I wanted one to be a part of our family.  I will never forget writing that deposit check..and wondering what the heck I was doing!
Lola was 9 months old when Bobbi let go of this precious girl.  Even though we went up to get a new born, Lola decided she was coming home with us.  After a haircut, getting the paperwork taken care of and her gear in the car..we were on our way very excited about the whole thing.  Lola?  She went to sleep on my lap for the hour long drive. 
9+ years later we had to put our Lola down and it was hands down the worst day of our lives.  She was our princess, our girl, and we loved her and looked after her as much as humanly possible.  
She was so loving, affectionate and easy to train.  She has left a huge hole in our lives.  If ever we adopt again, there is no other place we would go other than Bayview Shih Tzu.  Writing another check to Bobbi would be with pleasure and not fear or wondering if it was the right thing to do.  These little babies are precious and come from a very loving home.

 Dear Bobbi,
I wanted to contact you to give you a personal testimony about our precious dog Neiko that we brought home from your home on May 31, 2014.  Neiko has just turned 1.  We wanted to get a dog for our kids, because they wanted one so badly.  I fell in love with this breed, and knew a Shih Tzu was the perfect dog for our family.  It took a little convincing with my husband who wanted a bigger breed dog. Now, my husband wouldn't part with his little pal.  Oh, I also thought that I wanted a girl.  I have never had a dog of my own and many friends kept telling me that girls were better, easier, and didn't mark.  I started researching this, which was very interesting.  I saw some conflicting information. My researched led me to you, the most perfect breeder.  Then you offered some very real information.  So, guess what...a boy is the one for us!  I have no issues at all EVER! 
Well, a year in our household and this little fellow is the love of our lives.  Remember that said we got him for the kids?  Reality is, he is MY dog!  He has a special, different personality with each of us, but this dog is now mine.  I can't live without him.  He was perfect from the get go..  I read books about training dogs to include crate training.  Neiko is super secure and has NEVER had any horrid issues that I read about and see.  He has only ever chewed on his own toys.  He is perfectly comfortable in his own bed, but always prefers to be on my lap if my lap is available. 
I just really can't thank you enough for the time you take and the care to breed a wonderful temper dog.  He is a dream come true for us all, but especially me. I just didn't realize initially how much I really wanted him.  He is so super smart too.  He learns tricks really easily.  Although I think he is really smart, because he is stubborn about learning the come command!  That is certainly a trainer issue, as nearly all issues with dogs are.  They need clear direction, then it's almost as if discipline just comes right along with it.  I can only speak of this dog, this breed, and the breeder who knew how to customize something so wonderful.
So, in closing, if anyone is reading this testimonial and you are on the fence about a Shih Tzu, I would gladly do this again, and again.  Bobbi is a wonderful breeder.  She listened to all my insane questions during the process and kept us informed.  I have no regrets. He is PERFECT beyond measure!  Just look at these pictures, you can't deny how wonderful they are!

 We adopted Maggie from you about 3 years ago.  We researched shih tzu breeders online and found you and we could not be happier.  We would buy from you again in a heartbeat!  You produce AMAZING dogs!  Maggie is such a sweetheart.  She has been THE BEST dog ever for our family.  Her temperament is perfect.  She is obedient, happy, loving, potty-trained, and she almost never barks.  She is a dream.  Anyone who meets her comments how cute and sweet she is.  She loves to snuggle and she travels well and is such a content dog.  We appreciate the care and quality of puppies you breed.  She has been very healthy as well.  We have been so pleased with her.  Thank you again!
